Early on
As people age and approach senior years, they may need assistance, or be lonely. the intent of Baseline’s adult health day care program is primarily two-fold: (1) to provide eligible disabled veterans and older adults an opportunity to get out of the house and receive both mental and social stimulation, as well as the continuing care they need and (2) to give caregivers a much-needed break in which to work, attend to personal needs, or simply to rest and relax. Baseline’s Adult Health Day Care center provides socialization opportunities and basic support for eligible disabled veteran and senior citizens. Baseline’s center offers a social setting that includes meals, recreation, and some health-related services. Baseline’s allow clients to be social with others and still receive the assistance or care they need, and they allow caregivers to have a break from caring for their senior or disabled veteran. Baseline’s center operates during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, although some services may be available in the evenings or at weekends.
